Finn Lough offers weary minds and bodies space to recharge, refocus and remember life's simple pleasures. With a range of bespoke experiences incorporating the natural grandeur of the surroundings guests have the space to reconnect with themselves and each other through wide range of different activities.
We wanted to reach out to adventure seekers from the UK, Ireland and Netherlands to come and experience it. In order to fit the budget and maximise efectivness, we come out with the idea to communicate online and use famous travel bloggers or influensers.
So we contacted a famous globetrotter Bold Hiker from UK and a Dutch online magazine Stop and Stare to cover all tree markets - UK, Ireland and Netherlands. They were publishing stories daily on Twitter and Facebook, blog and magazine with around 1.000.000 active followers at that time. We created an online challenge contest to show everyone just how exciting this place can really be. We asked them if they dare to accept a challenge from their followers.
They were curious enough to jump into the project and we developed an online challenge contest to show everyone just how exciting this place could be.
Would they dare accept a challenge from their online followers?
Oh, hell yes.
Center of the campaign was a macrosite where followers had a possibility to challenge their favorite bloggers, picking up from 30 activities, creating a short adventure story. Soon enough, hundreds of their followers began submitting ideas and trails for the adventurous two to embark on. If their challenge was chosen and accepted, the follower would also win a weekend in the FinnLough nature resort.
A definite win for everyone involved.
Campaign attracted more then 250.000 visitors, and was published on numerous travel blogs and magazines increasing bookings for 300% after just 1 month.Today, FinnLough is one of the most famous luxury hideways in the north-western Europe, and between a must-visit places on numerous blogs and travel magazines.
