Together with our friends & partners from architectural studio m2atelier from Milan we had a great opportunity to work on a digital experience for the iconic Italian fashion house. Dolce & Gabbana opened two stores in Milan exclusively dedicated to their home decor line DGCasa. The collection was first presented last September in Venice during the Grand Tour of the maison.

They asked visual contributions to a few interior design studios and designers - to create immersive visual experience for the customers of their new home interiors boutique. M2atelier is one of the interior design studios they selected because of their long time collaborations throughout the years.

Matbold got them movin’ and groovin’

It takes the mastery of the two designers to dominate the boundary between excess and style. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana worked together in partnership with Luxury Living Group and arrived at a truly surprising result.

The furnishing boutique, located at Via Durini 23 in Milan contains pieces from the large fabric sofas to the lacquered oak tables and the accessorized bar furniture. DGCasa brand offers four different deco styles: the mediterranean vibes in the Sicilian Carretto and the Blu MediterraneoCollections and the animal patterns of the Leopard and the Zebra Collections.

Entering the via Durini store is a surprising visual experience. Net of special effects and immersive layouts, the Dolce&Gabbana world explodes in all its joy and sensuality. The interior walls are animated by a bespoke design created for each line by artists to provide an immersive experience for the visitors. The superbrand commissioned m2atelier in collaboration with Matbold to create the visual experience in 2 immersive rooms with led walls for The Zebra Collection.

“It is the story of a lifestyle, not just the attempt to transfer a fashion brand into the home world.” - Andrea Gentilini, CEO of Luxury Living Group.
