ACE superyacht launches with branding by Matbold
Branding the ACE Superyacht
Matbold had the opportunity to develop the visual identity and branding for ACE, a 44-meter luxury superyacht built by the Polish shipyard Conrad. The vessel represents a milestone for the shipyard as the largest yacht ever built in Poland, setting a new benchmark for craftsmanship and engineering.
The project required a brand identity capable of reflecting the yacht’s elegant architecture, refined interior design and contemporary approach to luxury.
Translating Luxury into a Visual Language
ACE was designed by an international team of renowned studios, including Reymond Langton Design for the exterior and m2atelier for the interior architecture.
Matbold was invited to create a visual identity that complements this design philosophy — minimal, precise and timeless. The branding draws inspiration from the yacht’s sleek lines and balanced proportions, translating these qualities into a clean and sophisticated design system.
Typography, subtle graphic elements and carefully balanced compositions form a visual language that feels both modern and understated, aligning with the expectations of the luxury yachting world.
A Brand Designed for the Superyacht Context
The identity system was developed to function across various brand touchpoints — from onboard applications and printed materials to digital environments.
The goal was not to overpower the architecture of the yacht but to support it through a visual language that reflects the same attention to detail and refined aesthetics present in the vessel’s design.
Launch of a New Flagship
ACE officially launched in Gdańsk in 2022, marking a significant moment for Conrad Shipyard and the international team behind the project.
For Matbold, the project represents another example of how strategic branding and design can extend beyond traditional industries and contribute to the world of luxury products and experiences.
