Matbold partnered with Bromley&Co., the creative studio and gallery of renowned Australian artist David Bromley, to design and launch a new digital platform presenting the artist’s work and creative universe online.

The project was conceived as more than a traditional portfolio website. The goal was to create a digital experience capable of revealing the story, philosophy and artistic identity behind one of Australia’s most recognizable contemporary artists.

A Storytelling-Driven Platform

Bromley’s work spans multiple creative disciplines - from painting and sculpture to fashion and collectible design. The digital platform therefore needed to present this diverse ecosystem while preserving clarity and emotional connection.

Matbold approached the project as a storytelling-first digital experience, carefully balancing the presentation of artwork with the artist’s own voice and perspective.

Through structured navigation, editorial layouts and immersive visual storytelling, the platform allows visitors to explore Bromley’s life, work and collaborations in a natural narrative flow.

Crafting the Digital Identity

Beyond the website itself, the project included the development of a cohesive digital branding system that translates the artistic language of Bromley&Co. into a refined online environment.

The platform combines expressive typography, carefully curated imagery and subtle interaction design to create a browsing experience that feels closer to exploring an art gallery than navigating a conventional website.

A Creative Collaboration

The launch of the website marks an important milestone in the ongoing collaboration between Matbold and the Bromley&Co. team.
