FH Joanneum Visits Matbold Studio

FH Joanneum’s Interaction Design program is widely recognized as one of the leading design and digital experience programs in Europe. Every year, students and professors travel across the continent to visit studios, agencies and creative organizations that are shaping the future of digital design.

As part of this year’s tour, the group stopped in Prague to visit Matbold.

Nineteen master’s students and two professors spent the afternoon at the studio, exploring how contemporary brand identities and digital platforms are created — from early strategic thinking to design systems, interaction design and development.

During the visit, Matija Vujović, founder and creative director of Matbold, shared insights into the studio’s approach to brand transformation and digital experience design, walking the group through several recent projects and explaining how strategy, design and technology intersect in modern branding.

The discussion quickly evolved into an open exchange of ideas. Students asked thoughtful questions about design culture, emerging technologies, creative experimentation and the realities of building brands in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

For Matija Vujović and the Matbold team, conversations like these are an important part of the studio culture.

Connecting with the next generation of designers brings fresh perspectives and curiosity - two qualities that continue to drive the evolution of creative industries.

FH Joanneum’s visit was therefore more than a studio tour. It was an opportunity to exchange ideas about where design is heading, how digital experiences continue to evolve and how creative studios can help shape the brands of tomorrow.
