There are some cities that always give something back creatively. New York is one of them.
This December, our creative director Matija Vujović attended the Awwwards Conference in New York, a gathering of designers, developers and creative leaders reflecting on the current state of digital design and the future of the industry.
Across two days of talks and conversations, the conference brought together voices from some of the most respected studios and companies in the world. The topics ranged from digital transformation and AI to storytelling, UX/UI and the evolving role of design in shaping modern brands.
But beyond the stage, what continues to define Awwwards is its community.
A global network of creatives connected by a shared ambition to push the web forward. Not just aesthetically, but conceptually. It’s a space where ideas circulate freely, where inspiration travels quickly, and where conversations often matter as much as the talks themselves.
For Matija, returning to this environment is always a reminder of how much the industry continues to evolve.

Leaving the conference means returning with clarity, fresh perspective and the motivation to keep pushing creative boundaries further.
